One Man play - for festivals
My role within this production is as the "priest". Having worked with Shaun Stone-Riley, Director and Film maker, before I am extremely excited about the final product of this. I have only completed one of three expected days of filming, with the next two days of filming expected wihthin the next 2 months. See a few of the behind the scenes images below.
I have been creating some short form character Parodies. Some comical, some dramatic. To be released on Instagram and TikTok. Each aims to be between 30 and 45 seconds long. I have 2 different characters fleshed out with some scripts. One, pictures below has 13 video's scripted and planned out, with the potential for more to be made at a later date.
Annother that is more dramatic than sketch-like but has a whole arc within 10 short form episodes.
With many characters within my brainstorm to possibly explore when I have got these two done. Including a DnD based character.
I began making some of the scripts for the above Studio Works. However upon creating a few and brainstorming, I stumbled upon a monologue, that I had always intended on doing, but never got around to. I then read the whole play and thought, I could probably do this on my own. After some reasearch I foudnthe story is generally public use, but the copy in shich I own is Copyrighted. Therefore I have written out a one man play version of...
...Creon! Sorry Antigone! but since mine only has Creon in it, it will be called Creon: Antigone didn't turn up!
I dont consider myself a writer, but a resonable deviser. I have therefore written a script, that still needs several cuts made to be festival length. also Imagine I will make several alterations, simplifying language, adding in a psychic Lazzi or two... we shall see.
